About The Position

East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to execute projects related to habitat restoration, invasive plant species control, and to provide guidance related to such projects to a diverse audience. The work includes outreach to landowners, identification and mapping of noxious weed species using geospatial tools, as well as control work in forested ecosystems, riparian areas, roadside right of ways, and other residential and public properties At EMSWCD we believe we are stronger together, and actively work to build a diverse, connected, and healthy staff and community. We are seeking someone to join our team who is passionate and motivated to help advance our strategic priorities of soil health, water quality, equity and climate action. This position is offered within the Rural Lands program of the organization at the Technician level. This position is a full-time, non-exempt (paid hourly) position. Pay is commensurate with experience and falls within the scale of $50,826 - $73,308 annualized (~$24.43/hr - ~$35.24/hr). Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through December 19th, 2025.
