About The Position

The NH Fish and Game Department, Law Enforcement Division is seeking applicants for the position of Conservation Officer I. Conservation Officers are responsible for enforcing state laws and regulations related to fish, wildlife, marine resources, and off-highway recreational vehicles (OHRVs) while also conducting search and rescue operations in New Hampshire's woodlands and waterways. Officers patrol assigned areas on foot, by vehicle, boat, or snowmobile, investigate violations, apprehend offenders, and provide public education on conservation and safety. The role requires physical endurance, law enforcement training, and the ability to respond to emergencies in remote locations.
