About The Position

Rocky Mountain Youth Corps Conservation Crew Member All positions are PAID, full time, seasonal, crew-based positions. Segal Education Award available with most positions. Day work and overnight camping schedule available. No previous experience required for members and Assistant Crew Leader positions available with experience. Other benefits include: Health Insurance, Member Assistance Program, Public Land Corps Hiring Authority status after serving 400 hours or more on public lands, UNM College Credit available, gear loan program. Project work may include chainsaw work, trail work, fencing, invasive species removal, historic preservation, or other community improvement work. All Corpsmembers will receive both personal and professional development training such as First Aid/CPR, Mental Health First Aid, financial management, and public speaking skills.
