Job SummaryThis position is responsible for designing and delivering high‑quality
embedded software
for medical devices, with a strong emphasis on
device connectivity,
interoperability, and
reliable communication within hospital network environments. Working as part of a collaborative, cross‑functional engineering team, you will implement software solutions that meet defined specifications, comply with established development processes, and support both new product development and enhancements to existing platforms.Job Details/ResponsibilitiesYou will contribute across the full software life cycle—including requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, verification, documentation, and long‑term maintenance—ensuring that all embedded and connectivity features meet performance, cybersecurity, and regulatory expectations. This role requires a commitment to building robust, secure, and maintainable software that supports safe and effective clinical use throughout the product’s lifecycle.

A successful candidate brings deep expertise in embedded systems, real‑time software, and networked device communication, along with the ability to deliver robust, maintainable, and compliant software that supports safe and effective clinical use throughout the product’s lifecycle.Qualifications/ Background ExperiencesRequires a four-year college degree in an applicable engineering discipline, such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering, and a minimum of six years of experience in software design and implementation or including six years of experience with structured or object-oriented programming or a master’s degree in a computer engineering, scientific, or technical discipline and a minimum of five years of experience in an engineering environment. Intermediate computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office. Experience in medical device industry preferred.
The annualized base salary range for this role is $94,760.00 to $119,478.00.
