Congressional Support Analyst / Management Analyst (Senior)
About The Position
Position Summary Provide high-level support and analysis to the F-35 JPO community in response to Congressional staff/inquiries; deliver quick-turn analysis of programmatic/financial impacts of Congressional bills; and support hearings/briefings. Key Responsibilities · Lead/support development and coordination of staffing papers and packages for Congressional inquiries. · Provide quick-turn programmatic/financial analyses on Congressional bills impacting the F-35. · Support and attend Congressional hearings and briefings with F-35 staff as required.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in a relevant subject or discipline.
- Minimum 10 years performing duties described in the functional description.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active Secret clearance, or ability to obtain/maintain Secret (interim may be acceptable per contract requirements).
Nice To Haves
- At least 5 years of experience working on or with Capitol Hill.
- Experience in legislative affairs or policy roles within a federal agency, or in government relations.
- Blend of government/defense and/or private sector experience.
