About The Position

The Conflict Analyst is responsible for research and analysis of incoming business and ensuring ethical compliance of the Rules of Professional Responsibility.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the Risk Management field.
  • Familiarity with rules governing conflicts of interest in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Practical legal experience in a large corporate law firm.
  • Detailed knowledge of business needs in a professional service environment.
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Successful project management skills and experience.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret, understand and prepare complex written material clearly and succinctly.
  • Exceptional research and analysis skills.
  • Understanding of the Rules of Professional Responsibility and ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
  • Proficient time management skills.
  • Ability to identify changes and shift as workflow demands.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Dun & Bradstreet Company Research and various Business Intake systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines presented by the Rules of Professional Responsibility.
  • Research incoming business and provide analysis based upon ethical rules.
  • Provide potential conflicts issues and advise on potential resolutions for said issues.
