As a Confirmations Specialist, you play a vital role in protecting and retaining scheduled appointments by reinforcing the homeowner’s decision and ensuring they remain confident and prepared for their consultation. This role goes beyond verifying details — it’s about strengthening commitment. You’ll connect with homeowners, answer questions, ease concerns, and proactively address potential hesitations that could lead to cancellations or reschedules. By building trust and reinforcing value, you help keep appointments solid and moving forward. In this position, your ability to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and confidently overcome objections directly supports higher retention and stronger outcomes for both the homeowner and the sales team. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability in handling shifting priorities and business needs
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to work overtime and non-traditional hours as needed (including evenings and weekends)

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ year of sales, contact center, or retention experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow Express Flooring’s confirmation and retention process to reinforce homeowner commitment, verify expectations, and ensure appointments remain solid and aligned with business standards.
  • Proactively identify cancellation risks, address concerns through deeper conversations, and properly qualify (or disqualify) projects while keeping all system information accurate and up to date.
  • Clearly communicate the value of the in-home consultation to homeowners considering canceling or rescheduling, helping protect revenue and preserve scheduled opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Sales Managers, Design Consultants, and team members to strengthen appointment quality, reduce fallout, and drive higher retention rates.
  • Engage homeowners and internal partners via phone and text to maintain consistent communication and ensure a seamless, confidence-building experience from first contact through the in-home visit.
