About The Position

Intrepid Solutions is currently supporting the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) providing IT support services across multiple contract task orders. This position will be supporting a newly awarded multi-year contract, located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. The program supports diverse needs providing employees many opportunities for career development, growth and advancement. To continue to excel this program, Intrepid is seeking a Configuration System Administrator to provide support for all NASIC and mission partner networks. A qualified Configuration System Adminstrator candidate will be able to meet the requirements and perform the duties outlined below:

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret / SCI TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration
  • High School diploma or equivalent desired.
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+) certification, required.
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of recent and relevant Administration experience.
  • Mobility to work in typical office setting and use standard office equipment; dexterity to install and terminate cables; ability to climb ladders; stamina to sit for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in over the telephone and radio systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain and document changes to Information Assurance (IA) security documentation needed to obtain a Certificate to Operate (CTO) for the GSI IT software and infrastructure to include but not limited to providing configuration management documentation, and executing security and vulnerability scans against GSI systems and interface with System Administrators.
  • Maintain and sustain the GSI configuration management (CM) process to control the system products, processes and related documentation. This task shall include all activities related to configuration identification, internal configuration control and interfaces with Government configuration control activities, including preparation and changes to Government-controlled documents.
  • Create and maintain a database inventory of GSI software (COTs, GOTs, scripts, databases, etc.) that supports the GSI squadron mission. The inventory shall include supporting information such as a functional description, the mission areas supported, software/database dependances, maintenance review interval etc.
  • Support and manage GSI’s IT Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP).
  • Create and maintain a master copy of all software that supports the GSI mission.
  • Support backup of this library both locally and to a secure off-site location as directed by the SME.
  • Document and maintain a body of continuity documentation for each technical M&S task/activity. These continuity folders shall include, but not limited to, documentation of each specific job processes, procedures, knowledge articles, and specific how-to documentation sufficient for a Government IT administrator to step in and continue the day-to-day activities is a crisis scenario.
