Leidos Intelligence Group is seeking a Configuration Manager who will be responsible for the configuration and release management of multiple legacy and cloud-based systems. Primary Responsibilities: The customer will utilizes lean agile and configuration management (CM) best practices to standardize IT-project governance across components for its set of corporate applications. Projects are in various stages of development, operations and maintenance (O&M), and cloud migration. The customer requires support for CM through leadership in agile practice and system engineering discipline. The work will involve all aspects of project management and technical leadership, from requirements to delivery, to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality product deliveries to a wide range of corporate customers. Work may be performed independently or within a team environment. The Configuration Manager will be responsible for configuration and release management of multiple legacy and cloud-based systems; author program documents to include CM Plan, software management plan, review boards documentation, charters, and standard operating procedures; and maintain or update program-level Configuration Item documentation. They will conduct periodic configuration audits to validate the accuracy of baselines, plan and implement software releases across engineering, development, and data teams, and ensure the contents of each release or iteration are tracked and controlled. They will also create deployment schedules and coordinate resource availability with internal and external partners, coordinate with management to communicate release contents to Customers and Security personnel for approvals, and prepare release notes accordingly, and coordinate with management on Customer approvals. The Configuration Managers will coordinate and communicate with management to plan and schedule releases to Test and Production, establish directories and prepare files for deployment to Test and Production environments, and validate the completeness of promotion requests. They will be expected to create, schedule, and coordinate planned system outages in required databases; assist in program reviews and provide timely status reports to management; assist in managing the workload of the agile teams; and be required to accommodate software deployments outside of business hours.
