About The Position

Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary's leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall's local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Requirements

• A passion for building and improving processes from the ground up.
• Ability to design and implement governance frameworks and drive strategic initiatives.
• Creativity and openness to bring your own ideas to the table.
• Technical or IT-related qualification (secondary education minimum).
• Strong knowledge and practical application of ITIL v3 or v4 (Foundation or higher certification is an advantage).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT service management or configuration management.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (HaloITSM, ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Experience in reporting and trend analysis.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Good proficiency in English; German is an advantage.
• Analytical and structured working style, with the ability to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Administer the CMDB and ensure data quality (HaloITSM or other systems).
• Maintain Configuration Items (CIs) and their relationships in the CMDB.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of configuration data.
• Develop, document, and continuously improve configuration management processes in line with ITIL guidelines.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on configuration status, CI relationship maps, and changes.
• Monitor and optimize processes to increase efficiency.
• Support Change Management by ensuring all changes are properly recorded in the CMDB.
• Prepare and support internal and external audits, focusing on configuration data compliance.
• Collaborate with IT Service Management, Operations, and Security teams.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in handling configuration data.
• Support technology updates and CMDB maintenance processes.
• Assist in incident and problem resolution using configuration data.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing on configuration management processes to relevant teams.
