About The Position

As a Configuration Manager at Anduril Industries, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Product and Program Teams by ensuring that all engineering change requests are properly documented, reviewed, approved, and communicated in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include generating, populating, and submitting change requests, as well as managing the compilation and synthesis of impact analyses. You will execute and implement change notices, ensuring that all checklist activities are completed, including validating changes to the Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Materials and setting effectivity for changes. Additionally, you will generate insights into the integrity and efficacy of the change process, including calculating the cost of change and tracking the speed and rate of rework of changes. In this role, you will also manage and curate the program configuration data needed for critical design gate reviews, such as Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR). You will lead critical configuration management activities and forums by setting agendas for configuration management meetings, organizing and managing critical configuration control forums, and driving discussions to decisions during change control board meetings. Your communication skills will be essential as you will be responsible for distributing conclusions and decisions made in configuration management forums. You will analyze product baselines in Teamcenter for compliance with industry and organization standards, support configuration management reviews and audits, and perform periodic audits of as-built records. As a cross-functional facilitator, you will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to understand proposed design changes and their impact, conducting thorough impact assessments to identify potential risks and implications of proposed changes. As the expert resource for Engineering Release and Change Management standards, you will model the use of Teamcenter software to manage engineering changes, provide guidance to Engineering teams, and define schema for product configuration management tools. You will also develop and implement training programs for Engineering teams to ensure understanding and compliance with change management processes and tools, while identifying and championing continuous improvement of change management workflow processes and tools. Finally, you will be part of the team defining the future of digital engineering at Anduril by partnering with engineering teams to set requirements and identify improvement opportunities, building an end-to-end digital thread that maintains an accurate product definition, and mentoring and developing configuration management analysts. Leveraging AI tools, you will drive increased speed, accuracy, and efficiency in Anduril's configuration management activities.
