Configuration Manager - Junior Level Why This is an Exciting Role: As a Configuration Manager - Junior Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be required to: Identify configuration items, implements change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits Work on teams to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software, licenses, media, and other IT assets Ensure that all changes to the baselines go through appropriate change boards Track all problems and changes in product documents/software and reports changes, controls standard operating procedures and current configurations Use or recommend automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures What Makes BI&A Different: As a fully owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, BI&A offers an optimal mix of a small company environment with exceptional opportunities supported by a large corporation. Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: Required Education and Years of Experience: Two (2) years experience as a CM in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Associates degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university; Two (2) years of additional CM experience may be substituted for an associate's degree. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Experience in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration Experience using configuration management tools (e.g., Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items Desired Qualifications: Experience in defining and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the hardware and software build process Experience implement hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures Telework/Remote Availability: Telework/Remote work currently not authorized Work Location(s): Annapolis Junction, MD Contingent Upon Program Reward The position is contingent upon program award. Requirements
