About The Position

ISHPI is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist (hybrid) to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, VA. This role will manage the supported systems of the C5ISC and provides services to include system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, electronic engineering, and technical writing.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years’ experience in the configuration management of DoD/USCG C4IT systems using Coast Guard, DoD, and Navy logistics information management systems including CG-LIMS, ACMS, FLS, or CMPlus.

Responsibilities

• Provides configuration management planning services.
• Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
• Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
• Operates automated configuration management systems in development of various logistics support documents including Equipment/System Integrated Logistics Support Plan (EILSP), Configuration Management Plans, Engineering Changes, and Time Compliant Technical Orders (TCTOs).
