About The Position
LinQuest is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This position is part of the MSEIT contract, which provides Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support for the Military Communications & Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Directorate of the Space Systems Command. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Configuration Management (CM) and will be responsible for applying CM processes for document control of technical requirements, statements of work (SOW), and associated Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system specifications. The Configuration Management Specialist will control and manage technical data from various sources and organize program documentation effectively. Key responsibilities include participating in weekly Change Control Boards, maintaining status accounting information related to board packages, and supporting the generation of SOW and CDRL documentation. The candidate will also review and coordinate the preparation of project documentation, analyze proposed changes to the Technical Baseline, and maintain the program-specific configuration management plan. Additionally, the role involves providing CM training to assigned program personnel as needed. The successful candidate should demonstrate expert knowledge of hardware and software development life cycles, as well as the CDRL development process. They should be capable of defining, documenting, and implementing the configuration management process for programs and projects, while also recommending and implementing military standards and CM best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment are essential for this role.
