SAIC is seeking a Configuration Management Process Lead to support the Tranche 3 Program Integration (T3PI), our Prime program supporting the Space Development Agency (SDA). This role can be based out of Chantilly, VA; Aurora, CO; or El Segundo, CA. As the Configuration Management Process Lead you will be supporting the Systems Engineering and Integration of the Tranche 3 constellation, which includes hundreds of satellites accomplishing multiple mission areas including missile warning, tracking and defense and tactical communications to warfighters. We will work with the SDA, end users, space vehicle contractors, and ground segment contractors to ensure the architecture, requirements, implementation, integration and testing are executed successfully. Consistent with the SDA's approach, the program will be fast-paced, dynamic, highly exciting and uniquely rewarding for the right candidate.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of the Configuration Management Process.
  • Oversee CM Process to ensure accurate, complete, and consistent records.
  • Establish and enforce CM process; to include pre-defined roles and responsibilities, workflow management, and version control.
  • Coordinate across government and contractor teams to ensure seamless execution of CCBs and ERBs.
  • Guide pre-coordination activities with support from applicable SMEs: Prepare and distribute change requests, consolidate and adjudicate comments, document board decisions, and maintain change log records and version history.
  • Establish and maintain record of Authoritative Source of Truth for all controlled documents and artifacts.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience OR Masters and 7 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Engineering Sciences or similar field.
  • Active DOD Secret clearance.
  • Experience with Configuration Management or Data Management Processes on development programs.
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools: Confluence, Please Review, Cameo TWC, Aras, or similar tool.
  • Experience in Agile methods for program management or software development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Experienced with fast-paced, space or ground system programs a PLUS!
