The Configuration Management Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will be responsible for the implementation of contract-wide management of CM processes, process improvements, and integration of Change & Configuration Management. Responsibilities include performing audits of task order CM programs, conducting gap analysis of CM processes, and analyzing audit findings. The analyst will contribute to the creation and refinement of the CM items in the program backlog, provide daily updates to assigned work, assist with the development of audit processes and metrics, and report findings to team leadership. The role also involves providing guidance and governance to ensure CM rigor and compliance with industry standards, identifying challenges, creating strategies, and executing them for a more mature CM program. The successful candidate will maintain CM documentation, improve CM training, and ensure the identification, status, and closure of action items and lessons learned.
