The NYISO’s Information Technology department invites applications for a full-time Configuration Engineer (Salesforce). The Configuration Engineer is primarily responsible for Salesforce platform administration and support. This role ensures system integrity, security, disaster recovery, and optimal performance for Salesforce and related platforms. The administrator creates and communicates platform standards and procedures, leads or participates in project teams, and collaborates with Salesforce Admins, Software Engineers, QA analysts, and end users from various business teams. Additional responsibilities may include supporting internal custom software applications, Python scripting for power systems engineering tools, and contributing to software testing efforts. The ideal candidate is self-driven, passionate about learning, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
