Responsibilities include processing requests for nomenclature and Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs), tracking these requests through government agencies, and supporting the configuration control function. This includes managing the receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking, and final disposition of various change proposals and directives. The candidate will also assist in preparing and submitting product data, planning and implementing audits, and maintaining configuration status accounting databases. Additional duties involve providing support for data calls, understanding distribution statements, and assisting in data reviews and the preparation of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). The role requires applying knowledge of configuration management fundamentals and the deficiency reporting process to ensure product consistency throughout its lifecycle.
