SUMMARY: Configuration Control Coordinator provides support to the overarching program change management process. The Configuration Control Coordinator ensures changes to the ARV Design are acknowledged, approved, tracked, and audited. Ensuring the understanding of the expected configuration compared to the actual configuration is vital to maintain required scope, schedule, and cost. Configuration Control Coordinator to assist the Configuration Manager in preparing the configuration management plan that will be implemented during the design and construction stages to track and manage all onboard configured items). Assists with managing engineering projects or one phase of a larger project, from start to finish by ensuring planning, organizing and controls of all tasks are completed timely and within the allocated budget.

  • Responsible for configuration control and auditing, status accounting, configuration log maintenance, and preparation of reports/briefings.
  • Administers the Configuration Management (CM) activities and processes for establishing and managing changes and consistency in the performance of complex systems and product engineering processes.
  • Develops procedures for and implements changes to engineering documents.
  • Reviews released engineering change data and documentation activities, and coordinates and implements system documentation, ensuring adherence to CM requirements, procedures, and policies.
  • Provides visibility and control of performance, functional, and physical attributes over the life cycle of a system, process, or project.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related field; or a combination of post-high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
  • 0-2 years of related experience with facility operations and management of projects.
  • Experience with government contracting/facilities, engineering or vessel design projects preferred.
  • Must have 3+ years federal contracts experience with medium to large contractors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with AutoCad, Primavera P6, Oracle and/or construction cost estimating software preferred.
  • Related experience in excess of 2 years is preferred.
