The Configuration Change Control Specialist provides professional expertise in change control and release management activities to support the development and implementation of an integrated change management program. This role advises stakeholders on governance practices, facilitates structured change processes, and develops communication materials to ensure controlled and effective implementation of organizational initiatives. Requirements

  • Approximately six (6) years of experience in configuration management, change control, release management, or related governance functions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting structured change management programs.
  • Knowledge of configuration management principles and lifecycle processes.
  • Experience developing communication materials to support organizational change.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders in controlled environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assess risk and recommend structured solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory support on change control and release management activities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a standardized, integrated change management program.
  • Develop communication materials and change management documentation to support organizational initiatives.
  • Facilitate structured change control processes, including evaluation and approval workflows.
  • Support selection, control, implementation, and evaluation of organizational changes.
  • Collaborate with technical, operational, and leadership stakeholders to coordinate change activities.
  • Monitor compliance with configuration management and change governance standards.
  • Assess risks associated with proposed changes and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support release planning and documentation efforts.
  • Prepare reports and briefings on change management activities and outcomes.
