Come make an impact every day at Zebra. The Configuration Associate I is responsible for the production of high-quality products per procedures/specifications within the standard labor hours. The incumbent will be responsible for set up and perform assigned assembly operations within specific target product family while meeting quality standards. The incumbent will provide back-up support for other functions within this job description as personnel requirements dictate. This is a 1st Shift position. M-F 7am-3:30pm

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience in assembly environment
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 35 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • High School or equivalent
  • Good troubleshooting /problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow manual instructions.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement activities, such as Kaizen and Lean manufacturing
  • English language skills: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal work instructions
  • General computer skills with Windows navigation abilities

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting Quality goals and on time delivery associated with respective jobs
  • The ability and understanding to perform process operations from procedural documentation and training within standard labor hours
  • Perform visual inspection of Configuration product for physical damage and missing parts
  • Ability to test Configuration product using a PC based test system
  • Record inspection results via PC-based Configuration order tracking system
  • Prep and clean Configuration product prior to shipment in accordance to established standards
  • Associate needs to be punctual. Can be depended on to handle his /her normal work functions
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Maintain ISO 9001 readiness
  • Performs other duties as assigned
