About The Position
The Configuration Associate I at Zebra Technologies plays a crucial role in the production of high-quality products, adhering to established procedures and specifications within standard labor hours. This position is integral to ensuring that products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. The associate will be responsible for setting up and performing assigned assembly operations within specific target product families, while also providing backup support for other functions as needed. The role emphasizes the importance of punctuality and reliability, as the associate must be dependable in handling their normal work functions. In this position, the associate will engage in various responsibilities, including performing visual inspections of configuration products for physical damage and missing parts, as well as testing these products using a PC-based test system. The associate will also be tasked with recording inspection results through a PC-based configuration order tracking system and preparing products for shipment in accordance with established standards. Maintaining ISO 9001 readiness is also a key aspect of this role, ensuring that all processes align with quality management standards. This is a day shift position, operating from 7 am to 3:30 pm, which allows for a structured work schedule.
