As the Configuration and Data Management Lead, you will:

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).
  • Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.
  • CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading teams.
  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to configuration and data management.

  • Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, CMIIC, EIA-649, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of configuration and data management specialists.
  • Develop and implement configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate version control and configuration status accounting for all software and documentation items.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage the integration, verification, and delivery of software and documentation products.
  • Establish and maintain configuration baselines and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to configuration management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the release and distribution process for software and documentation deliverables.
  • Manage the change control process, including the evaluation, coordination, and implementation of changes.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to team members on configuration and data management practices.
  • Generate and maintain configuration management reports and metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve configuration and data management issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the remote team.
  • Coordinate with the customer on process improvements.
