About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Configuration Data Management Engineer - Experienced, Lead or Senior - to join the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) team in Huntsville, AL. Boeing Huntsville has multi-year contracts to develop, manufacture, and test the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile seeker and future improvements. These contracts are driving significant, long-term growth for the PAC-3 engineering team on the Huntsville campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

Nice To Haves

• Change Management experience
• NDIA certification or equivalent CM Certification
• Experience with Engineer Release Tools
• Metrics and chart generation experience
• Knowledge of Engineering Drawings and Model Based Design and Model Based Instruction

Responsibilities

• Perform technical check of complex engineering data to verify that engineering, partner, and/or supplier product definition data (e.g., bill of material, geometry, digital models) meets procedural and system requirements.
• Define, document and interpret product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
• Develop, document and implement plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and maintain configuration control.
• Communicates requirements to coworkers/customers regarding procedures, processes, and tools that support the preparation, release, and interpretation of product definition data.
• Track, reconcile discrepancies and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements.
• Support audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
• Assist with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
