Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations team (WWDR) provides the services, resources and guidance that empowers the world’s most dynamic developer community to push the boundaries of innovation and bring the next big app ideas to Apple’s platforms for customers worldwide. WWDR also offers programs to help developers connect with experts, learn about the latest Apple tools and technologies, and adopt best practices to supercharge app development. We are seeking a Configuration and Automation Engineer to help shape and scale the internal tooling that enables the review of millions of app submissions every year.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience.
• JavaScript proficiency for use as a scripting language in backend or automation systems.
• Experience with client-server architectures and tools that dynamically generate or configure user interfaces.
• Background in supporting high-volume operations such as support desks, customer service platforms, or call centers.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Apple’s SDK and an understanding of how apps work.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven compute or function-as-a-service (FaaS) platforms.
• Experience querying and analyzing large datasets using tools like Trino, HDFS, or similar big data technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, particularly for data analysis.

• Enable support specialists to work more efficiently and effectively.
• Own the configuration of internal tools and develop automation.
