Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL. In this role, the Configuration Analyst will support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives related to engineering tools development. The candidate shall work under the guidance of the Systems Engineering Manager.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor degree AND 2 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master degree AND 0 years of related professional/military experience
  • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of NX and modeling
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter and NX (or equivalent PDM/PLM applications)
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes and methodologies
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with creating/managing Kanban boards
  • Professional certifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and recommendations
  • Ability to work in a dynamic working environment

Responsibilities

  • Validation and testing of PLM tool functionality
  • Directly supporting the Systems Engineering Manager on a daily basis
  • Creating training/best practice documentation
