About The Position

The Configuration Analyst supports the Service Excellence team by maintaining and configuring key organizational systems. Responsibilities include managing application access, entering data into core systems, and ensuring proper production and service operations. The role also involves designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and update business configuration tasks across multiple enterprise systems, including areas such as HCPCS data, modifiers, claim editing rules, client setup, letter templates, role-based access, work queues, and both business and application-level rules.
  • Design, document, and implement the complete business configuration process—from receiving and validating requests, through prioritization, design, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Provide ongoing support to monitor effectiveness after changes go live.
  • Create and maintain configuration guides and manuals for training and reference purposes, documenting all key configuration decisions.
  • Develop deep expertise in all relevant applications through hands-on experience and training, continuously seeking opportunities to optimize system functionality in alignment with business needs.
  • Audit data for errors or inconsistencies, resolve configuration issues, and verify outputs for accuracy.
  • Coordinate configuration activities and address customer needs to ensure prompt resolution of system issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, delivering timely updates and notifications about workflow impacts resulting from system changes.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews to support ongoing production and maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and governance teams to ensure consistent interpretation of policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Take on additional related duties as assigned.
