We are seeking a self-starting, motivated Configuration Analyst or Principal Configuration Analyst to join our dedicated field engineering team in Oxnard, California. This team is responsible for designing, developing, testing, delivering, and operating advanced prototypes and unique marine systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 0 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years experience using Excel including creating reports, spreadsheets, and tables and proficient in manipulating data and formats of spreadsheets.
  • 2+ years experience of configuration management or change control experience
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Must have a minimum of an active Top Secret Clearance and with the ability to obtain SCI access and Special Program Access (SAP) prior to starting.
  • Must be able to maintain the level of clearance and program access for continued employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with complex databases and industry tools (SAP, Seimens Teamcenter, Widchill PLM, Autodesk Vault, Solidworks PDM, etc.)
  • Experience as a configuration management database administrator
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to project plan and execute
  • Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated independent planning, organization, and working in cross-functional teams with both internal and external customers.
  • Proven written/communication and analytical skills and proven ability to handle detail-oriented work processes.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

  • Support configuration data management using CM tools
  • Maintain a systematic change management process by generating configuration management documents and support engineering change control
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the CM engineering database through detailed data entry and accurate records keeping
  • Produce new configuration management process documentation as required
  • Prepare documents for archival and maintain archived records as required
