The Configuration Management and Data Management (CMDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CMDM organization consists of multiple disciplines that participate in the full lifecycle of our products, from conception to deactivation, supporting engineering, our program offices, and our customers. The Sensors, Surveillance & Space Configuration Management (SSS CM) Department is looking for a Configuration Analyst for our Traceability team. This position is an Onsite role, where you will be working primarily in Andover, MA.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or related field
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding Internships).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and PDF document editing.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Configuration Management processes
  • General knowledge of hardware components, such as those used on circuit card assemblies, and experience supporting a manufacturing process, work area, or program
  • Proven excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to proactively interface with team and provide customer support.
  • Self-Starter, willing to learn new tools
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Load, verify, and analyze traceability data (serial numbers, date and lot codes, revisions, reference designators, etc.) for As-Built product configurations, comprised of RTX-manufactured and supplier-delivered hardware/components.
  • Review manufacturing process sheets, change notices, and variances, to verify proper configuration requirements.
  • Digitize documents for record retention.
  • Support multiple programs and collaborate effectively with the Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering groups.
  • Support monthly metrics/activity reports and special assignments from Team Leader.
