About The Position

The Conference Services Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of conference and event planning and execution, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for clients. This role involves developing relationships with vendors, collaborating with clients to understand their needs, and managing logistical details to meet financial goals and enhance guest experiences.

Requirements

• At least two years of event planning experience required, with hotel event experience recommended.
• Basic knowledge of event planning systems including Social Tables, Delphi, Outlook, or similar programs recommended.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other partners.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple departments on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other partners to ensure the highest quality service for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their conference needs and objectives and provide customized solutions.
• Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of conferences and events, including menu selection, catering details, audiovisual equipment, timelines, group rooming lists, and transportation.
• Create and manage detailed budgets for conferences, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
• Maintain a current detailed account of groups' performance in sleeping rooms and food and beverage.
• Oversee on-site execution of conferences, providing support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Evaluate conference services performance and implement improvements to enhance overall guest experiences.
• Create out-of-the-box guest experiences and enhance the hotel's offerings.
