Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a Conference Services Manager to support our Sales & Marketing Department. This position is for a highly prestigious hotel located in sunny Carmel Valley, California, where you will learn and grow within a strong hospitality operation. Requirements

  • Prior experience in event planning required.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional customer service with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between the client and the hotel for all client needs.
  • Meet and greet clients while on site and field subsequent communications.
  • Attend events, welcoming guests upon arrival and re-confirming set-up, and food and beverage needs.
  • Create BEO's and ensure client contractual agreements are carried out.
  • Maximize event revenues by upselling.
  • Manage the catering day-to-day operation via scheduling, payroll, recruiting, planning, controlling, and analyzing all aspects of the department.
