About The Position
Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a Conference and Event Specialist for the division of Student Life. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing non-academic events (internal and external) that support the president's office; academics ceremonial events on either the Omaha or Phoenix campus. Develop and strengthen partnerships within and across divisions and work collaboratively with students, employees, and community partners. Assist the Signature Events team with event execution by providing onsite event execution when needed. Provides key support to the Summer at Creighton program, guides individuals and groups from the initial point of request throughout their stay to compiling appropriate charges upon departure. Go to for questions about summer housing availability and campus services. Will assist with direct sales, marketing, appointment calls, and tours of campus spaces for current and potential customers. Full-time 12 months with some evening/weekend hours are required, dependent upon events. Will 40+ hours a week during critical times of year. Some travel may be required, less than 5%.
