This position involves supervising train crews on a freight train and coordinating switch engine crews. Responsibilities include placing cars to facilitate loading and unloading, and managing the makeup and breakdown of trains in various locations such as a rail yard or industrial plant. New hires will undergo three weeks of paid classroom training in Fort Pierce, Florida, followed by on-the-job training in all aspects of Conductor service, including Yard, Local, and Through Freight operations.
