About The Position

Corporate Compliance at State Street is seeking an Co-op to support the Conduct Risk Management Office. The successful candidate will support the Conduct Risk Management Office with projects in all Employee Conduct subject matters, such as: Personal Account Dealing, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Outside Activity, and Conflicts of Interest. This individual will assist in researching and developing materials and tools that support education and guidance in the different Employee Conduct subject matters. Position is available in Boston. This position is perfect for an individual who is results-oriented and desires to expand their career within a global business while learning the basic concepts of compliance.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and ability to adapt to shifting priorities, meet deadlines and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintenance of data within compliance management systems.
  • Conduct research related to compliance and ethics trends.
  • Assist with weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting.
  • Participate in Compliance projects and activities.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with internal business partners to successfully achieve organizational goals.
