About The Position
This is a 6.5 hour per day, Conditional Paraeducator position at Kamiak High School for the 2024 - 25 school year only. Anticipated start date will be as soon as possible. This position does not include Medical and Dental benefits. Hours for this position are 7:15 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support to a student. Duties may include but not limited to accompanying student to classes throughout the building, including lunch, restroom, PE, and swimming. Providing assistance in classes to help the student fully access the curriculum. Assisting the student with specialized curriculum. Encouraging and teaching use of technology for assignment completion. The Structured Program at Kamiak is a program for students with Autism or other characteristics often associated with Autism who require predictable routines and visual-based instruction.
