About The Position

The Condemn Tracker B Shift position involves various responsibilities related to the processing of cattle in a slaughter department. The role requires logging into a computer daily to verify kill drives, managing condemned products, identifying different types of condemn reasons, and ensuring accuracy in the work station throughout the day. The position also includes answering calls and taking messages in the office, with daily tasks being fairly structured.

Requirements

• Must be able to rotate from scale to scale in the slaughter department.
• A good knowledge of computer experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a packing plant.

Nice To Haves

• People and management skills.
• Computer and math skills.
• 10 Key Pad knowledge.
• Bilingual important, but not mandatory as long as translators are nearby.

Responsibilities

• Log into the computer on a daily basis before cattle get to work station to verify that the kill drives were already established.
• Using the lineup provided by pens, place Track condemned product off the gut table by lot.
• Identify different types of condemn reasons.
• Identify heifers and steers.
• Catch mistakes and balance on work station throughout the entire day.
• Answer calls and take messages in the office.
