About The Position

The Concurrent Review Coordinator Lead supports inpatient care coordination by overseeing daily census management, timely authorization processing, and discharge planning activities in collaboration with the mentorship, monitoring staff performance, and ensuring compliance with organizational, regulatory, and documentation standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Equivalent experience in healthcare, managed care, or a related coordination role.
• Knowledge of healthcare delivery, managed care practices, and inpatient care processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with accuracy.
• Competent in use of office equipment (fax, printer, scanner, etc.).
• Ability to interpret guidelines, prioritize tasks, and work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework or certification in healthcare administration, medical terminology, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a physician office/clinic or experience in an IPA/Group UM or Care Management department.
• Any combination of educational and work experience that would be equivalent to the stated minimum requirements would qualify for consideration of this position.
