About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. This role is ideal for a field concrete technician looking to transition into a laboratory-based position with regular hours, a controlled work environment, and opportunities for long-term career growth. The successful candidate will perform routine and advanced testing of concrete and aggregates in accordance with ASTM, ACI, and project specifications.

Requirements

• Experience as a concrete field or lab technician
• Knowledge of ASTM and ACI test methods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Ability to lift test samples and lab equipment

Nice To Haves

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
• ACI Strength Testing Technician
• Other relevant ACI, ASTM, or materials testing certifications
• Knowledge of ForneyVault

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing of fresh and hardened concrete
• Prepare, cast, cure, and test concrete specimens
• Conduct materials testing per ASTM / ACI standards
• Record and report test results accurately
• Maintain lab equipment and follow safety and QA/QC procedures
