About The Position

Martin Concrete Construction is searching for a dedicated and experienced Superintendent – Mission Critical to lead concrete crews on complex, fast-paced projects such as data centers and other mission-critical facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This position is for a strong, hands-on leader who thrives in high-accountability environments and enjoys solving challenges as they arise. You will be the driving force on-site—managing safety, production, scheduling, and manpower while working closely with project managers, clients, and trade partners to keep projects moving forward. We are looking for a confident and reliable individual who takes ownership of their work and leads by example. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in concrete construction, preferably on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects
  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods and sequencing
  • Proven ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Experience leading crews and managing multiple scopes of work
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or nights as project demands require

Nice To Haves

  • ACI or TCA certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all on-site concrete operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
  • Champion safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies, site requirements, and OSHA regulations
  • Supervise field crews and subcontractors, providing clear direction, leadership, and support
  • Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules
  • Partner with Project Managers to plan work, track progress, and resolve field issues
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and general contractors, maintaining clear and professional communication
  • Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution
  • Complete daily reports, track time, and maintain required project documentation
  • Communicate effectively with other superintendents and internal teams to support overall project success
