About The Position

The Concrete Sales Representative at Titan America is responsible for promoting concrete sales and products, building and maintaining customer relationships, and responding to market trends. This role is essential for expanding sales to existing customers and developing new customer bases, ensuring that Titan America continues to grow in the competitive building materials market.

Requirements

  • Must have or complete CCSP certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent Business/Financial Acumen to capture business opportunities and make vital financial decisions.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a customer-focused philosophy.
  • Ability to build successful relationships and treat others with respect, even in challenging circumstances.
  • Pro-active attitude with a team-oriented, collaborative working style.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 4-year degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • 1-3 years of construction industry experience, knowledge of the ready-mix industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the expansion of sales to existing customers and the development of sales to new customers.
  • Gather pertinent information on market conditions and competition in geographical territory and research specifications to prepare bid packages and strategic initiatives.
  • Attain sales goals for territory, including Volume and Average Selling Price.
  • Develop and update monthly sales demand within the territory based on customers' estimated requirements.
  • Keep informed of new products/services and participate in trade association meetings and conventions.
  • Develop extensive working relationships with customers and other departments to ensure customer needs are addressed.
  • Work to resolve customer issues, problems, and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain excellent customer communications regarding timely deliveries, compliments/complaints, accurate orders, and job-site preparation.
  • Assist accounts receivable in the collection of payments.
  • Develop and maintain territory intelligence, identifying market size, customers, and competitors.
  • Inform customers of price and supply trends.
  • Serve as a Safety and Logistics liaison on jobsites as needed.
