About The Position
Lunar Transport is looking for hard-working, dedicated people to join our team. The position involves picking up and delivering resources in a timely manner while safely operating vehicles. The employee will communicate work progress with the supervisor throughout the duration of the project and maintain a truck log according to state and federal regulations. Responsibilities also include keeping a record of materials and products transported, blocking and tying rope around items to secure cargo for transport, and cleaning, inspecting, and servicing vehicles. The role requires the ability to operate a smartphone and tablet, work in any type of weather, and climb in and out of basement excavations anywhere from 6-10 feet deep using a dirt ramp or stairs. Additional duties include performing materials handling and storage, loading and unloading trucks, washing out pumps in accordance with established procedures, ensuring safe pump setup, and following proper safety and incident reporting procedures.
