About The Position

This hands-on role involves forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for a variety of commercial and site development projects in the High Springs / Gainesville area. The Concrete Laborer will assist with surface preparation, tool operation, and reinforcement installation, while helping to maintain a clean and safe job site. Requirements

• Previous experience in concrete or construction is preferred, but not required - we're willing to train.
• Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions and lifting heavy materials.
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn new skills on the job.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites and assist with all phases of concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing.
• Mix, spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand and power tools.
• Assist with the installation of reinforcement materials like rebar and wire mesh.
• Clean and maintain tools, work areas, and equipment.
• Work safely and efficiently while following company and OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with crew members and follow direction from supervisors to meet deadlines and project goals.
