About The Position
The Traveling Concrete Finisher/Laborer will be responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete on various job sites throughout the country. This position requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and experience in a variety of concrete techniques and finishes.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a concrete finisher.
- Proficient in hand and power finishing tools.
- Willing and able to travel for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs continuously and work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Experience with commercial/industrial concrete projects.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set forms, pour, level, and finish concrete for slabs, walls, footings, and more.
- Use tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and power trowels.
- Ensure proper curing of concrete to achieve desired strength and durability.
- Read and follow blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and crew members.
- Travel to job sites as needed (Full-time travel 6 weeks at a time).
