About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Structure and Manhole Installer to work on our construction projects. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of concrete structures, including manholes, drainage systems, and related components. The ideal candidate will have experience working with concrete, knowledge of underground utility construction, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in concrete installation, manhole construction, and underground utility work.
Proven ability to work with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace

Nice To Haves

Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus

Responsibilities

Install and repair concrete structures such as manholes, catch basins, and drainage systems according to project specifications
Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
Prepare work sites, including excavation, grading, and alignment for structures
Pour and spread concrete to the required thickness and consistency
Perform quality checks to confirm proper installation and structural integrity
Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear as required
Communicate regularly with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget
Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines
Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects
Other duties as assigned
