About The Position

CCS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise concrete crews on active construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating daily field operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality concrete work on schedule. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and productivity.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of concrete construction experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete methods, materials, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and excavators.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for job documentation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50–90 lbs regularly and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven surfaces.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or nights as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of concrete crews and subcontractors.
  • Lead all phases of concrete work including layout, forming, pouring, finishing, and curing.
  • Ensure job site safety and act as the OSHA Competent Person.
  • Enforce company policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
  • Plan daily and weekly work schedules with the Superintendent.
  • Monitor productivity and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety practices.
  • Maintain daily logs, material tracking, and job documentation.
  • Conduct job site inspections and address safety concerns.
  • Coordinate equipment usage and ensure proper operation.
  • Review and approve crew timecards.
  • Prepare for OSHA inspections and ensure compliance at all times.
