About The Position

Methuen Construction is seeking a Concrete Foreman to provide essential support to the Field Operations department. This position reports to the Superintendent and is responsible for the oversight of other teammates. This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial construction experience
• Current licenses applicable to the trade
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of general construction and concrete construction safety standards and practices
• Responsible for enforcement of safety standards with own crew and others on the worksite
• Thorough knowledge of the planning, layout, erection, and bracing of formwork for concrete footings, walls, columns, and slabs
• Thorough knowledge of the installation of reinforced steel, including the ability to read rebar shop drawings
• Thorough knowledge of the placement and finishing of concrete
• Ability to provide accurate layout for line and grade from established benchmarks
• Competency in working at heights while following appropriate fall protection protocol
• Working knowledge of job cost report and labor production report review and analysis
• Thorough knowledge of corporate quality control program
• Ability to take direction and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to read drawings and specifications
• Basic computer knowledge
