About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team, responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and a passion for delivering high-quality results, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
• Masonry skills to lay cinder block.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans effectively.
• Proficient in using hand tools and equipment related to concrete finishing.
• Experience with concrete forming techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction estimating practices is beneficial.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with tile laying, metal stud framing, flooring installation, stucco application, and trim carpentry is preferred.
• Ability to relocate before starting work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including forming and framing.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
• Finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
• Ensure proper curing of concrete to prevent cracking or damage.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and flooring installers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
• Assist in estimating materials needed for projects.
