Asphalt Contractors, Inc. – Union Grove, WI Join Our Team Asphalt Contractors, Inc., a second-generation, family-owned company with 45 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Concrete Field Supervisor to lead and manage our concrete crews. We are a full-service contractor delivering high-quality asphalt and concrete solutions across the region. We are looking for a strong, hands-on leader who can oversee a crew of 6–10 team members while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards and specifications. This is a working leadership role. The supervisor will lead by example, provide direction to crew members, and communicate effectively with project managers and company leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of concrete finishing experience required
  • Experience in concrete flatwork and curb and gutter required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required for job coordination and safety compliance
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
  • Ability to work extended hours based on project demands
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical labor in outdoor environments

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience leading or supervising a crew preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a concrete crew of approximately 6–10 employees
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities and crew assignments
  • Perform and oversee concrete flatwork and curb and gutter installation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications
  • Set forms, establish grades, and ensure proper pitch and drainage
  • Maintain job site safety and enforce company safety policies
  • Ensure quality control standards are met on every project
  • Communicate clearly with crew members, subcontractors, and management
  • Operate equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators as needed
  • Travel to project locations as required
