About The Position

In addition, we offer self-perform construction services including concrete, steel erection, carpentry, drywall and acoustical ceilings and an in-house AWI Certified mill shop. Requirements

• Completion of an apprenticeship program or an equivalent 4 years of concrete carpentry experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to work rapidly and accurately.
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
• Must be able to follow specific directions.
• Must be able to judge straight lines, spaces, and proportions.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, percentages, and fractions.
• Must be able to read and understand measuring tools and levels.
• Must be able to compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, brace and remove concrete forms constructed of wood or steel to form components of concrete structures.
• Construct concrete forms including foundations, shoring and decking operations, walls and columns, and other structural elements.
• Perform vertical installations and removal, framing and decking operations, pouring of concrete, distinguishing between different types of material and equipment.
• Operate hand tools and motorized equipment including concrete saws, grinders and drills.
• Place and fasten concrete reinforcing by use of rebar.
• Perform other general construction duties as required.
