About The Position

The Four Seasons Hotel Miami is looking for a Concierge who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our employees have the opportunity to shape our guests' experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned organization. The basic purpose of this role is to respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work all shifts including AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.
  • Some lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required of luggage, packages, and boxes up to 50 lbs carried a distance of up to 20 feet.
  • Bending/kneeling required - full range of motion required to retrieve guest luggage and other material needed by guest.
  • Mobile position requiring movement behind the desk, within the hotel, and to/from the storage room.
  • Continuous standing for entire shift.

Responsibilities

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Resolves customer complaints and assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
  • Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Complies with Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Assures that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are up to date and current.
  • Knows what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establishes close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.
  • Stores and retrieves guest luggage and packages.
  • Utilizes a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements the guest has made and to assure proper billing.
